First of all, in terms of safety, there are still a little hidden dangers in the safety of baby carriages in China. For example, ignoring the details of the parts and components makes the active infants and young children easily scratched by the exposed parts; In the use of color, the designer did not combine the infant's visual development characteristics and psychological cognition of color, but casually used bright colors with high brightness and purity, causing visual and psychological damage to the infant. Secondly, in terms of functionality, China's stroller function design is too simple to better meet the needs of users in different periods. Finally, in the whole design process of the stroller, the designer did not fully refer to ergonomics to guide the design of the stroller components, and ignored the in-depth analysis and study of the design of the stroller based on the physiological and psychological characteristics of the user, resulting in many extremely uncoordinated factors in the human-machine relationship between the stroller and the user, which not only greatly reduced the comfort and use efficiency of the stroller, It also has extremely adverse effects on the physical development of infants. It is against this background that this paper, aiming at the design field of stroller products, takes the improved design of the stroller as the main discussion and research object, uses ergonomics as the theoretical basis, studies the design factors of the stroller from the physiological and psychological characteristics of infants and adults, and expounds the design of the main part, the riding part and the operating part of the stroller. By studying the design elements of different parts of the stroller, this topic can better solve the problems existing in the shape, function, safety and comfort of the stroller in China, effectively improve the safety and comfort of the stroller, and enrich the functions of the stroller. Finally, through the combination of theoretical research and practical research, the improved design practice of the stroller is completed using the modular design method. The research of this paper mainly includes the following five aspects. First, on the basis of understanding the use status and existing problems of the stroller, a set of design principles suitable for the product characteristics of the stroller is summarized, and its design principles are reasonably applied to the four design elements of the stroller: shape, shape, color and structure, and the product characteristics of the stroller are reasonably improved through the design principles guiding the design elements; Secondly, the folding, damping, braking and body design of the stroller are deeply studied from the perspective of function, and the relationship between the function and safety of the stroller is expounded. Through the design practice, the improved design method and content of the stroller shape, color, function and components are clarified on the basis of combining safety.
